Before & After at McKinnon mains upgrade job, 6mm2 cotton sheath mains upgraded to 16mm2 SDI cable. New main earth, meter panel and mains box on riser pole bringing the overhead up above the 3 meter requirement. Increasing the maximum power capacity of this property to 63A, allowing for induction cooktops, oven, additional socket outlets & future proofing ready for aircon and even EV chargers or solar.

Switchboard & mains upgrade, slightly challenging

Switchboard & mains upgrade, slightly challenging one as the overhead power-line fed two properties and required upgrading across to the other side of the street on a busy intersection requiring traffic control. Its all completed, inspected by the electrical inspector and reenergised, this customer now has 63A supply available to there property allowing them to install induction cooktop, oven, and potentially heat pump hot water, aircon, & EV chargers in future.

Todays job, completing the fit off at this customers kitchen renovation, completed by @lwdesignandassembly. Included in my scope of works was wiring in the new induction cooktop, oven, all new power throughout using @traderelectricalsupplies flat cat range. We also ran 150mm flex pipe and installed a flume in the tiles for the external ducted rangehood.
